Someplace Down in Texas

     Betsy Wagner retired from a career in public education in 2008. It was then she discovered the interesting connections her family has with Texas’ beginnings.  She lives in Columbus, Texas; one of Stephen Austin’s original pioneer communities. She works in partnership with her cousin Patricia Allen Duyfhuizen of Eau Claire, Wisconsin.  Together they use “islands of truth” joined by “bridges of logic” to tell the authentic stories of Texas Pioneer families.
